The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) offers different ways to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who prefers settling in a particular province. The Provincial Nominee programs are for workers who:
- can contribute to the economy of a particular province with the required skillset, education qualification and work experience.
- wish to live in particular province, and
- want to become permanent residents of Canada
Each Canadian province and territory (except Nunavut and Quebec) has its own different criteria to qualify individuals under their Provincial Nominee Programs and has designed different streams to target different group of people and once nominated Express Entry candidates get an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.
There are two ways to apply for Permanent Residence under PNPs -Paper based process and Express Entry process.The selection of process is based upon the province to which you are applying.There is also an important requirement to pass a medical check and get a Police verification certificate as part of application process.

- British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
- Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
- New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP)
- Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP)
- Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP)
- Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NSPNP)
- Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
- Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP)
- Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
- Yukon Nominee Program (YNP)
- Nunavut: It is the newest territory in Canada and does not have a Nunavut Nominee Program yet
- Quebec province does not have a Provincial Nominee Program.
